YOU CAN PUT A FIELD TIP IN THE INSERT AND SLIGHTLY HEAT THE FIELD TIP TO LOOSEN THE GLUE UP AND SHOVE IN ALL THE WAY OR REMOVE. AGAIN, HEAT IT ONLY ENUFF TO LOOSEN THE GLUE..

I WOULD PULL IT AND START FROM SCRATCH PERSONALLY OR YOU WILL PROLLY LOSE IT IN A TARGET SOONER THAN LATER

Option 2 would be to put a drill bit inside the arrow shaft at the nock end, get a bit that will slide easily inside the shaft, rais the shaft so the tip is facing up and keep your hand covering the open end and swing it downward so the bit slides down the shaft and hits the insert. Swing it a little harder each time till the insert and bit come out, be very careful slinging the insert and bit will go flying if you swing TOO hard or too fast.

OH HELL YEAH IT COULD... NOTICE SLIGHTLY WAS HIGH LIGHTED.

I WOULD HAVE A TORCH ON THE TABLE, ARROW IN LEFT HAND., PLIERS IN RIGHT. APPLY FIELD TIP INTO FLAME AND AT THE SAME TIME PULL TWIST WITH PLIERS (CLOCKWISE NOW). SHOULD ONLY BE IN THE HEAT FOR 3-4 SECONDS AT A TIME.

OR SHOOT IT THE WAY IT IS INTO A TARGET UNTIL IT PULLS OUT ON IT'S OWN... AND IT WILL

IF YOUR NOT WORRIED ABOUT LOOSING THE INSERT IN A TARGET, AND IT FLIES RIGHT, GO AHEAD AND JUST SHOOT IT. THERES NO BIG DEAL WITH IT, IT'S ONLYLIKE A 1/8TH GAP???

IN THAT CASE I'D JUST SHOOT, YOU MAY HAVE TO GIVE A LIL TWIST PULLING OUT OF THE TARGET IF YOUR SHOOTING FILED TIPS AT A BAG TARGET.

NEXT TIME IF YOUR INSERT HOLDS UP LIKE THAT WHEN YOUR INSTALLING, GIVE IT A GOOD SLAM DOWN ON A PIECE OF WOOD WHILE IT'S STOILL A BIT WET TO SEAT IT ALL THE WAY

NO NEED TO LINE UP THE BLADES, THATS AN OLD WIVES TALE, HOWEVER IT DOES LOOK NICE IN THE QUIVER. IT'S MORE IMPORTANT TO TWIST AND SPREAD THE GLUE EVENLY AND SPIN TEST AT THE SAME TIME TO MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE ANY WOBBLE IN THE BROADHEAD

THATS JUST IT, YOU GOTTA FIND THE HAPPY SPOT. NOT EVERY COMPONENT IS EXACT TOLERANCES, SO YOU HAVE TO GO SEARCHING OR MAKE IT HAPPEN IN OTHER WAYS. IT'S JUST EASIER TO DO WHEN THE GLUE IS STILL WET, THATS WHY ALOT OF GUYS LIKE THE HOUR + EPOXY'S. GIVES EM TIME TO WORK

Just be careful with the heat, you definitely do not want to overheat the carbon fibers, bad deal there.

take out the nock and find a rod about the inside diameter of the shaft, insert from nock end and then slam a few times

I was recently using Loctite Ultra Gel and maybe yours will do the same as mine did...

I wasn't using much glue, and found they set rather quickly... After letting them sit overnight, while tightening up BH's using a Smith's Sharpener with BH cutouts, the inserts broke free and started twisting... (That's my suggestion... insert BH into something that won't damage the BH to get a good grip on it and try to twist it...) After breaking all the inserts free and cleaning them up with denatured alcohol, I found that using more glue (as suggested by Jberg by running two glue beads opposite of each other 3/4 the length of the insert) gave alot more "set time" to align them up.

You will get excess glue coming out between the shaft and insert, just wipe it off with an old washcloth (paper towel stuck on me sometimes) then after it cures, a little green scrubby pad and denatured alcohol will take the remaining thin layer of glue residue off.

Goood luck using heat on super glue. The best way to remove that insert was told to you by both Hoosieroutdoorsman and Go Bucks. In fact I'd say that's the ONLY way you'll ever get that insert out.

I'll try to explain it a bit better.
1) Pull the nock off the back of your arrow.
2) Find a drill bit that fits inside the shaft(the larger the better but it has to slide freely inside the shaft)
3) slide it in with the fluted end facing out and only until it's just all the way in
4) grip arrow firmly and in a whipping motion slam the bit into the back end of the insert. Repeat as necessary.

Warning- Make sure no one is in front of you. Make sure nothing breakable is in front of you. Make sure you are in an open area. When it breaks loose it can and will fly.

Personally I'd go the opposite route and throw the shaft in the freezer for a few hours and then try the slam type method mentioned earlier in the thread.. Cyanoacrylate has a tendency to become brittle in lower temps.
