Default Is my Moutrie camera about to die?

I'm having problems with my older Moultrie 2.1 camera. It's not triggering like it's supposed to and I'm not getting all of the pics I should be. This just started about 2 weeks ago. I noticed when I pulled the card and only had about half the pics I normally do in that time period. Last two times I have checked it in the dark it does not flash until I get right on top of it and wave my hand in front of it then it is still delayed. Not triggering in the daytime either. I had a buck in front of it this morning and pulled the card to see if it got his pic. No dice. It used to trigger out to about thirty yards.

What could be wrong with it???

It's either the sensor or the switch. That's what it is every time I ask my mechanic about my truck.

Hope that helps, BTW.

Sounds like the motion sensor is weak or even the cover may be dirty

Call Moultrie. I did about pictures whiting out. They said send it in for repairs which I did. They sent me a new camera and I hadn't even registered mne for the warranty & had no proof of purchase. It never hurts to ask.

I noticed mine getting slower to trigger right before I brought them in. I think it was that my batteries were getting weaker and the weather colder. Just a thought.
