Opinion's
I recently went to Rocky's and saw a bow. Its a PSE blah blah blah haha wasn't really paying attention. What is everyone's outlook on the brand itself?
I really don't know if I should waste my money on it or not.
The bow itself was set up almost perfectly for me the length was good and draw back could go up to 40.
Is it something I should consider or not a good brand at all?
Thanks Guys.

Re: Opinion's
I think Either one will be just fine for you. They are both equal in comparison, probably. It's about which one you like and are more confident with.

Re: Opinion's
Well the thing I like about the Diamond is it can be adjusted meaning weight wise. The PSE that I was looking at only went up to 40 pounds. And I think the Diamond can go up to 60 don't quote me on that though. It just seems like the Diamond could fit a woman better. My draw length is about 25.

Re: Opinion's
The diamond has more adjustability as far as draw and weight. What PSE were you looking at? Was it the Chaos? The Diamond would be good to start out and you could work your way up with it more.

Re: Opinion's
I have no idea what the PSE was. The kid there kinda just flew through it and I was like ya ok I have no idea what your saying hah. Thats kinda want I want. Something just to start out with and if I fall in love with it then I can spend a little more money or upgrade to something a little better. I am just starting though you know.

Re: Opinion's
There is no way you won't like it.
I say shoot them both and see which one you like. The limbs can be upgraded on bows, if you happen to like the PSE more.

Re: Opinion's
Diamonds are a girl's best friend.
I hunted with a PSE for years. It was a great bow for it's time. I am not up on the latest PSE is offering but I am a big fan of the Diamond bows.
Shoot both and go with which ever one your heart tells you.

What is your budget going to be? That will definitely help, but if you are looking for a wide range of adjustments, the razor's edge will be best for you

Just purchased a PSE Chaos for wife. She liked the PINK camo! It is a sweet little bow and is quite fast[286 IBO] and quiet. I think you would like it!

I had a PSE that came from walmart. So PSE put plastic wheels on it. I loved the Bow. But earlier this year the plastic wheel broke making it useless. Now i have a PSE Brute. It has aluminum wheel and cam. I love it. Just make sure if you get a PSE or any bow that it is not set up with the plastic wheels. It makes it lighter but will eventually break over time.

I bought a Diamond Razor Edge with the thought of passing it to my grandson (9 yr old) in a year or two as he expressed intrest in archery. His mom won't let him have one yet. I really like it......

Re: Opinion's
Parker has a couple that are made for the smaller frames, youth and ladies. They also offer the SideKick in camo PINK! Darton is my favorite, if you get a chance to shoot one do it! The Ranger series, is the one that sells. It will go from15-45 lbs and DL is 22-28" and only weights 2.9lbs. And priced to sell at only $229.00 Most of todays bows are close to each other in quality. Shoot them all and have fun picking the bow that you like the most.

Yea I am going today to a couple places. I am kinda intimidated though. They just look at me like I am stupid or something. Oh well they will have to deal if they want a sale. I really want to check out the Diamond though it just looks all around what I am looking for.

Re: Opinion's
Go get em Rachel, you should be able to walk into a bowshop and not worry about being intimidated. Ask for help and if the guy/girl helping treats you like something other than you want to be treated, walk out. Just like any other place you go to buy something, you deserve to be treated with respect and if you feel you aren't being treated that way, tell em to stuff it and go to another shop until you are satisfied.

Re: Opinion's
I started with a PSE Spirit, switched to two other brands and now back to PSE. I was able to get animals with all of them. I agree with shooting both first and go with the one that matches you and your needs. Brand name isn't really the important part. The equipment is only as good as the user...Good luck.

Re: Opinion's
Rachel, I know exactly how you feel. I just bought my first bow a couple weeks ago and felt the same way going in and out of shops looking at bows and finding out all the specifications and the accessories that I wanted / needed. I looked at a lot of bows, PSEs, Diamonds, Bears, and Mathews but the Diamond is the one I went with and I am happy to say I love shooting it Good luck!

Re: Opinion's
You want be wasting you money on any PSE, awesome bows and you would not be wasting your money on a Diamond, I like the Black Ice. Bow of choice for me is PSE. The diamond is a very smooth bow and a 70# draw will feel like 60#.

Re: Opinion's
Don't be in a hurry to buy! Do some research and it will pay off in money saved.First, alot of the clerks working in box stores don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. The main considersion should be getting a bow that is adjustable within your pull weight and draw length, also the length and weigth of the bow it'self. You don't neccesarily have to buy the most exspensive bow to get one that suits your needs.I would think a bow that adj. between 25-40 or 30-50lbs. would work well.Shoot some[setup at your lb/drw] of those within your price range and see which brand feels right for you.

check out hicks outdoors in clio (linden and M57), Bear Foot archery on old 21 (corunna Rd) west of I75...Matt Brown is the owner. Spot Shooter Archery in Holly (holly and Grange hall (?)) Jim Beasely owns that place...of the 3 I would start with the latter two...both will take the time to work you thru the purchase. Problem is...neither has the Diamond...thats where Hicks comes into play...if you go there ask for Mark (part owner).
