Did you get the old camera working, or you shooting these with a new one?? Nice pics, love the one with the funky scales. Is that the mirror carp Alex asked about?

Is a mirror just a phase of a common carp?

That's what I heard too. I shot a purty good mirror this year. 13.5 pounds.

Idk what deerminator does with his carp. But to help you out a little, I just use mine for garden fertilizer. Before/after stuff is growing in it, I just burry them where it needs it. But for times of the year like right now, I just burry them between the rows. My mom's addiction to gardening is more than my addiction to bowfishing, so she apprectiates the fertilizer. When we were planting tree's We'd also through a carp beneath each tree. It's also a good excuse to go stick carp. "sorry mom, but somebody has to go get the fertlizer"

Nope never tryed to eat any of them from around here. Even Oneida.
Let me know how that works out

I read where they are trying to change the name of the Aisan Carp to Aisan Silver Fish so when they hit the Great Lakes ( which I believe they have already ). That it would change the way people think about Carp. Perhapps starting a fishing industry.

Try the board recipe, put them on a board in the oven at 450 for 20 min. then throw the carp out and eat the board
