Default Alex's bow hunt....

Hey Y'all,
How fast does a bow have to shoot for a hog not to jump the string...These hogs get hunted all year round. When they are under a feeder they are ready to launch to the slightest sound. This hog may have weighed 100 pds, she jumped the string as you can see...The bow is a Diamond Razors Edge by Bowtec...

We looked and couldn't find her, she was moving foward at the sound of the bow, and dropped about 6 inches or more...they are fast.....

The hog heard Alex draw his bow, he was having problems drawing it sitting down....that was a natural ground blind that has grown up in the food plot on Alex's hunt, The next hunt was a bucket behind brush also....They say that hogs can't hear too well or see too well....I am beginning to wonder who is "they".
Hogs get educated quick....

if they are always jumping the string....aim a little low on purpose. low enough that youlll still have a solid hit if the drop a bunch, but not so low that you wont get a vital hit if they dont move..

Didn't find the hog, If that hog knew for sure we were there he wouldn't be eating corn....If they think anything is wrong what so ever, they won't go under the feeder for nothing till dark....I hunt them about every weekend, Touch the chip in the camera, hogs can be coming for a week...you won't see them under that feeder. They can smell better than deer....We aim low already, they jump the string under feeders...If you stalk them and they are not under a feeder they usually wont jump the string....
